It was a little more difficult than I thought it was going to be to find the use of blogs in a school on the Internet! I did find some though. In the first particular Blog I found, A 5th grade teacher uses the blog to keep parents informed of what is happening in the classroom. There is also information about homework, and accomplishments of the class during the week. There aren't very many comments on the blog, but it is still a resource to the parents and children of her class. There are no pictures on this particular blog. Click the link above to check it out. The second blog I found was definitely much better than the first one! This blog is based out of Whitefish Bay in Wisconsin. This blog includes lots of pictures and websites that the kids can use for homework or just for fun. This teacher also includes newsletters for the parents to keep them up to date. There is a lot of information on this site, it looks like the blog was created awhile back in Jan. 2004. She does a great job putting all the information up!
